From the north: Via the Brenner motorway A22 - exit Bozen Süd - highway in the direction of Meran - exit Sinich - continue in the direction of Meran - at the second roundabout turn right to Schenna (past the botanical gardens) - at the narrow place at the entrance to the village of Schenna - after 50 meters the main road divides, you keep right - at the first entrance on the left side is the Prairerhof.
From the west: Take the main road through the Vinschgau Valley to Merano - exit Marling - continue in the direction of Merano city centre - past the horse race course and follow the signs to Obermais and Schenna - pass the narrow place at the entrance to the village of Schenna - after 50 metres the main road divides, keep right - the Prairerhof is located at the first entrance on the left-hand side.
Tip: The entrance is on the opposite side of the road to the Schenna fire station.
The easiest way to find us is to use Google Maps and search for Prairerhof.

All IC and EC trains on the Munich-Verona line stop in Bolzano. From Bolzano, a regional train leaves for Merano every half hour. You can reach the Prairerhof in Schenna by bus, directly from Merano station. We will be happy to organise your journey by taxi (for a fee).

Upon arrival in South Tyrol, travellers on DB/ÖBB trains with the connecting ticket South Tyrol can use public transport to get to their accommodation on the day of arrival or to the railway station on the day of return.

Travel comfortably on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Munich with the direct bus to Schenna, all information can be found here. This service is offered by the tourist office Schenna from March to November.
With the Südtirol Express every Saturday from Switzerland to South Tyrol. Offered from April to October.
Daily (all year round) with the Flixbus to Bolzano or Merano, it stops at the thermal baths car park in Merano, where on the opposite side of the road the bus leaves for Scena.
Once in South Tyrol you can also book your direct shuttle to the Prairerhof with South Tyrol Transfer.
